An evocation of country living. Through the memories of those who live and work in the country, this eight-part series explores the changing rural scene in eight contrasting parts of Britain: the Cornish Coast, the Valleys of South Wales, the Broadland of East Anglia, the uplands of the Yorkshire Dales, the Borders, the Scottish Highlands, Shetland and village life in the Weald of Kent.
